Our mom's group made a trip to the Edmond Historical Museum,and it was so much fun. They have a fairly new children's center, that is very hands on. They had a grocery store - stocked with pretend cash, register, food, bank - with a vault, pretend cash, jail, railroad place, tepee, place to color, dig through pretend dirt, little house with dress up stuff, dishes etc. My kids had so much fun, it will definitely be a place we go back too. It was free, plus the extra history you can look at in the museum area, well worth the outing. They also have a nice park right outside with a covered eating area, perfect for a picnic. Thanks to everyone who was able to come out, we had a blast.
