It's been said it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. I have to say I will never forget my Grandmother. Grandma passed away August 16th, 2007. She was a child of God, a wife, a mother, a Grandma to me, as well as many others. There was something special about going to Grandma's house. The way the air flowed through the house when the attic fan was on to just the feeling of the surroundings, "out in the country," as I called it. There were no expectations, you could just be yourself, her home was always open. So many memories I will treasure, and one day share with my children. For they will never be able to know and appreciate this generation the way I knew it and NOW appreciate it. Grandma thank you for giving to me, encouraging me & loving me. You have placed your fingerprint within my heart for a lifetime. Now I know you are in your right mind (for the Alzheimer's is no more), you are at peace with no pain in the presence of the Lord. I know you are looking upon me with a smile, and blowing kisses to your great grandchildren. This is good bye for now, see you again someday. I Love you, your "Lisa"
