Cookie Monster/Vist From Family!

Easter Sunday at PC, the kids got to see Elmo! Elmo was walking around the children's wing at church. The next week at PC, was cookie Monster. The kids were so excited!! Easter they hugged and hugged on Elmo, and Cookie Monster was just the same. They wanted to know who was coming the next week. Such a fun time!!

We also got a visit from Uncle Mike, Aunt Sunny, Jackson, & Goldie the week after Easter! The kids were super excited to see Jackson & Goldie. Jackson and Goldie got to see Cookie Monster too! After the experience we headed to Papa Jack's for lunch. It was a short time, but a nice time with them. Hope to see them again soon. Love you guys!

Mom's Group Bricktown water Taxi ride!

A couple of weeks ago, our mom's group went down to Bricktown to explore/ride the water taxi's. The kids were super excited to check this out, and so was I. We have always wanted to do it, so I thought this would be a great adventure with our mom's group! I learned a lot of history I didn't know, it was very fun to ride and learn about our state, and the downtown area. The kids were just excited to ride on the boat. They did get to see some fun stuff too. The tour guide did fun stuff when we went under the bridges, Ian is holding his ears in a picture, because it was loud. We even got to sing Happy Birthday to Ian and Malcolm, such a fun time. I would definitely like to do this again.
After the exciting boat ride, we headed to Falcone's Pizza for lunch. Izze's choice, she is a pizza girl. The kids got to play a little bit around the fountain area as well, this is a favorite for them too. We had so much fun. Thank you to our friends who came out to enjoy this adventure with us!!

More Easter Pics.

We had a great Easter, with great experiences at PC, and then dinner with family! We headed over to aunt Jessi's, Darrin & DJ's house. We are glad they live closer to us now. Aunt Jessi made all the great stuff for dinner, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, and the list goes on. After the second plate full was gone, we headed outside to watch the kids hunt Easter eggs. They were super excited about finding the eggs, and the treasures inside. We had a nice, relaxing time together. Hope to have more times together as well. Thank you Jessi for having us over and cooking such a great meal, and for loving our kids so much.

(The pics. are of the kids in their Easter attire. Then the rest were taken at aunt Jessi's house on Easter day. The kids were hunting eggs. Izze and I had matching outfits)

Mom's Group Easter Egg Hunt- 2010!!

Last Monday we had a very fun time at our mom's group. It was our annual Easter Egg hunt, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! We meet at Hafer park, which is a favorite of mine and the kids. The kids played for a while, then it was time to get things going. One of our mom's, Gaylee planned some fun games with the kids. We had an egg race, bunny hop race, and bouncing eggs on the parachute. The kids loved the parachute for sure! Then it was time for decorating our own Easter eggs. The kids got to each decorate a hard boiled egg and take their creation home. After the decorating, it was time to hunt!! We separated into two groups, older kids, and younger, then it was a free for all. The kids had such a great time looking for the eggs, and enjoying the treats inside. It couldn't have been a more perfect day. Thanks to everyone who came out, we had a great turn-out!! Thanks Gaylee for the games, and all the eggs!! Looking forward to more fun times this summer!!

Family Time!

my guys!! I love them!

My precious/priceless family!!

This week the weather has been so gorgeous, maybe a little windy, but warm, so I'll take it! Monday, after dinner the kids wanted to go down to our little park area and feed the ducks and play. We headed out with about a whole loaf of bread we had leftover from being gone on vacation, so these ducks were going to get feed that night. When we walked out on the deck the ducks came swimming. The ducks got so close, even took pieces out of Izze and Ian's hands. One almost come up on the deck with us. They seemed to be really hungry, plus the fish in the pond as well. You could see the fish coming to the top of the water and grabbing the bread, Brian could have reached out and grabbed one. It was a fun time to end such a great day! Oh how I love these people, and the time I get to spend with them!

Spring Break Trip!!

We had such a fun Spring Break! Izze was out of school, whoo hoo!! We headed to Dallas, one of our favorite little get aways. We headed to our favorite places to shop and eat, that is one of the best parts of the trip for me. The kids got to ride the carousel, our tradition so far, this time we also took them to the Dallas World Aquarium. This was a lot of fun for them and us. They got to see all kinds of animals that we haven't seen close up before. They even got to feed blueberries to birds. This was a highlight! The last day we meet with some friends at one of our "newest" favorite places to eat, Texas de Brazil, it was a great way to end our little trip. All in all I just love being with my husband and kids, doing fun things, and experiencing new things together. Oh how I love these people God has given me!!

A couple of side note of the pics.
(the pic of Ian and I where he looks scared, is because he was. He didn't like being in the hall where it is all glass with water all around and every kind of fish is swimming on top of you. He was afraid of the sharks and the fish with the sword noses. Izze and Brian were standing in the hall glass, which she thought was cool)
(Ian is sitting next to a manatee separated by glass of course, but he liked that one)
(The bird with the blueberry in it's mouth is the one Ian just feed, it was pretty amazing they were so close)

Zoo, weekend, Spring Break..........

We had a fun weekend, which included a date night with my man!! Whoo Hoo! We tried out a new place, well for us, we had never been. Iguana Grill, tex mex food, so good. The queso was amazing, and the salsa fresh. We then headed to Sera Sera's for a cup cake. I tried the strawberry this time, it was really good... Then headed to see, "The Blind Side." One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Worth Seeing. It was a great night with my husband, even got in a little Target... lol

We had a family breakfast together this weekend. This is one of my favorite things to do. We get up early, usually because the kids get us up before 7:00, then we head out. The kids love it too, they always get excited to go. I love, love my family. I am so blessed and grateful for them. Truly!!!

Today, Izze started Spring Break! It sounds so strange to say that, I just never imagined her in school. She is my baby, and always will be. She is excited to be out of school and so am I. This school thing has been a transition for all of us.

Today, our mom's group headed to the Zoo. The new Children's Zoo is open, and the kids had a blast. A little cool, but well worth it to get out and do something we haven't been able to do in a while. Thanks to all the ladies that came out, we had fun!

This Spring Break week is full of fun stuff for us! We are looking forward to it. We have a little trip planned some of the time, getting together with family in the weekend, meeting with friends tonight for dinner. Fun week ahead!!

Should have pics and update next time.

Have a great Spring Break to all!

Weekend happenings/random thoughts!

We have had such a great morning this morning with friends, even though the weather is rainy, and a little cold, we were filled with the warmth of friendship. Our mom's group was fun this morning at bouncin craze. The kids love this place, and they have added new stuff for the kids to play on. Izze had rosy cheeks the whole time, she just goes and goes in that place. Thanks ladies for the great conversation, it's nice to be able to talk with friends, and get some advice too.

This weekend was fun as well. Friday morning was the start of a consignment sale that a friend of mine and I go to every year. We wait in line to get in at 8:00AM, then rush to the racks of choice to hunt for our treasures. I ended up with some great buys, I love it. Even though I don't see my friend most of the time we are at the consignment we usually meet up with our piles of clothes to go through together, and we talk each other out, or into buying certain pieces. LOL

My mom stayed with us one night this weekend. Her husband was having heart surgery. Izze was very excited all day to see Nanny Faith. Izze gave up her bed to Nanny, so she could have a nice place to sleep, and Izze was excited to sleep with brother in his room in a sleeping bag.

We tried to grill hamburgers this weekend since the weather was great, and found out our propane was gone. Inside we came to cook them, we'll be getting a new bottle for the grilling season ahead.

Izze got to tour one of the Edmond fire stations on Friday, she was super excited about it, and still has the fire station tattoo on her hand to show off.

Sunday afternoon we cuddled on the couch with the kids, and watched a Disney movie of Ian's choice, it was great!!

I have a girls night coming...... I love getting together with my friends, I am better because they are in my life.

Have some exciting things coming up soon!!!!!

Have a good week all!

Random thoughts...

Wow, what a great day today is! Yesterday we left the back door open because it was so nice out, while the kids played. I love this weather!!! This week has gone fast lots of things to do, and get done. I have accomplished most of them too. Good feeling!! My mom is suppose to be staying with us tonight. Izze is really excited about this and that she will sleep in her bed, and Izze will get to sleep with brother.

Until next time, have a great weekend!!
